Be My Val!

"No greater love has anyone, that he lay down His life for his friends. " Jn 15:13


Valentine's day is a day to share love, and love is demonstrated by giving. People give material things, money, greeting cards, and so on, but there is a gift that was given one time and has never been equalled.


"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 6:23


"For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in shall not perish, but have eternal life." Jn. 3:16


Since all this years you have been experiencing Valentine's day, can any of those gifts you have received be compared to the free gift of God? Certainly not! The gift of God is without repentance, it is not what you deserve and it is only a product of God's unconditional love.


"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" Rom.5:8


Can you now see that greater love has no one than for a man to lay down his life for you and for me and offer us the gift of life instead?


My friend, the love of Jesus is an unconditional love, despite our rebellion to him, he died for us on the cross of Calvary so that our sins might be forgiven by God. Friend, Jesus loves you more than your parent, more than your boyfriend or girlfriend and even far more than the person you call your best friend.


My friend, thank God for the privilege to be alive today, many have died and many are currently regretting their refusal to accept Christ. There are even many elderly persons who are regretting that they did not remember their creator in the days of their youth. Today is the day of your salvation!


"How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? This salvation which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him" Heb. 2:3


My friend, do not allow this opportunity to slip you by, do not allow Satan to rejoice over your life anymore. He is already doomed to Hell, but he is looking for people to join him there. You have no excuse before the Almighty God if on the Judgement day you are found wanting.


"What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the son of man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done." Matt.16:26-27


Do not allow just a few years of pleasure on earth to spoil your eternity- you still have uncountable years to spend over there! Do not be deceived, there is no other way to God other than Jesus Christ and he is always ready to accept you into his fold. You don't now when you will die, neither do I, so do not postpone your day of salvation. If you are not 100% sure you are saved, there is still chance of going back to Jesus.


If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ into your life, would you just humble yourself before God and acknowledge your sinfulness, confess your sins to him and determine to forsake them completely. Call on the blood of Jesus to wash you clean and break every power of sin over your life.


"Yet to those who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." Jn 1:12


Congratulations, you are now a child of God, the Lord Jesus' Val!
